Liberian Red Cross offers free Introductory First Aid Lessons to 342 Students

October 17, 2019

STRANGE AND EXCITING: Get trained and save a life. You will be glad that you did it. Today, we offered a free introductory lesson in basic first aid to 342 Students and 27-commercial motorcyclists and drivers ahead of this year World First Aid Day on September 14. Learning First Aid was a strange experience for them but they were greatly excited as they learn new skills to save lives and reduce the impact of injuries during an emergency. The exercise in Montserrado, Bomi, and Margibi is part of our activities marking this year World First Aid Day under the theme: “First Aid and excluded people”. Remember, everyone has the potential to save lives by learning first aid. And From January to September we have trained and certificated 83 people in occupational and emergency lifesaving First Aid.
