Protection Against Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Policy

The Liberia National Red Cross Society (LNRCS) Protection Against Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Policy is a vital framework aimed at preventing and addressing sexual exploitation and abuse in all humanitarian actions. This policy underscores a zero-tolerance approach, providing clear guidelines for safeguarding affected communities, supporting survivors, and holding accountable those who violate the ethical and professional standards of the Red Cross. It promotes integrity, respect, and transparency, creating a safe and inclusive environment for all.

About Us

The Liberia National Red Cross Society is the single largest national humanitarian organization in Liberia. It is a Voluntary Humanitarian Organization and an auxiliary to the public authorities and the Government, delivering services to the most vulnerable in emergency, including disasters, conflict, civil strife, ill-health and contextual social issues. The Liberian Red Cross is represented in each of the fifteen counties by a chapter and in the districts by a branch, from which we are able to reach regional and remote communities.
