Gender and Diversity Mainstreaming Policy

The Liberia National Red Cross Society (LNRCS) Gender and Diversity Mainstreaming Policy reflects the organization's commitment to equality, inclusivity, and respect for diversity in all its operations and programs. Approved during the 50th General Assembly in December 2020, this policy ensures that gender and diversity considerations are integrated into humanitarian actions, governance, and institutional arrangements. It promotes fairness, representation, and dignity for all, in alignment with the Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

About Us

The Liberia National Red Cross Society is the single largest national humanitarian organization in Liberia. It is a Voluntary Humanitarian Organization and an auxiliary to the public authorities and the Government, delivering services to the most vulnerable in emergency, including disasters, conflict, civil strife, ill-health and contextual social issues. The Liberian Red Cross is represented in each of the fifteen counties by a chapter and in the districts by a branch, from which we are able to reach regional and remote communities.
